One of seven children raised in a musically inclined family,
Greg attended Berklee College of Music and Ohio State University receiving a Bachelor of Music degree.
After graduating, he immediately hit the road for Las Vegas, where he performed in casino showrooms
with such artists as Wayne Newton, Tony Bennett, Robert Goulet, Tammy Wynette,
Joan Rivers, The Lettermen, Rodney Dangerfield, and just about everybody
who was on the Johnny Carson Show, including Doc Severinsen!

Greg later toured 37 states for 3 years with the world-famous band BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS.
After touring, Greg returned back to New York City to release his new album, GREG KOSS / SOUND FACTORY.
The album went to #8 in the top 50 jazz albums of the year.
After touring Europe with several bands and performing concerts throughout several countries,
Greg was asked to put together a summer studies program at the University of Salzburg in Salzburg, Austria,
bringing high school and college students for private music instruction. It was a great cultural experience!
Greg opened the Koss Music Institute in Lutz, Florida in 2008.

Sharing my Passion
My most rewarding experience is seeing the smiles on people's faces when they discover they can accomplish something musically. I love helping kids get started early to appreciate
and understand the value of music.
The most important thing for music lesson instructors is having solid communication between teacher and student. Patience is the essence in establishing that rapport. I tell parents when they start their kids with private music lessons, that I will guarantee that they will practice and learn. Three months later, they come back to me and tell me that their kids are practicing without them having to be told, and that they're ready for recital.
My Music Classes
The mission of our music lesson instructors is to provide life-changing music education. Students receive thirty minutes of individual weekly private music instruction chosen from a wide range of instruments. Our music lesson instructors provide mentoring and encouragement regarding music, home, and school. Each semester we offer students the opportunity to increase their self-confidence by performing before an audience.
Parents participate by sending regular reports documenting often remarkable progress observed in their child’s academic achievements and social skills. We wish to expand our private music lesson outreach to extend the healing gift of music to greater numbers of children throughout the communities of Lutz, Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, Dade City, Land of Lakes and the East Pasco County area.
